Whistler Blackcomb park laps
Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia is two mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb, run as one resort. Its main park setup is on Blackcomb, with a stepping-stone park and an expert-only line above it.
Whistler Blackcomb's terrain park page notes which parks and features are open. Park layouts, lifts, hours and ticket rules change through the season (and with the snow), so check the linked official page on the day you go.
The parks

Intermediate and advanced features mixed together. Whistler Blackcomb calls it the stepping stone to Highest Level.
Highest Level Terrain Park (Blackcomb)
Blackcomb Mountain, Whistler, BC
Big jumps, spines, rails and jibs built for expert riders, the kind of setup riders with Olympic plans train on. Helmets are mandatory.
Ego Park (Whistler) & Choker Park (Blackcomb)
Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain
When we checked, the resort's terrain park page said small features were open at Ego Park on Whistler and Choker Park on Blackcomb. It also said the hike-park on Expressway has been decommissioned.
Lessons
If you're new to boards or to park, Whistler Blackcomb runs a snow school. Its terrain park page lists wblessons@vailresorts.com for snow school questions.
Tips
- Start in the stepping-stone park. Don't take your first lap of the trip in Highest Level. Warm up on the Terrain Park first.
- It's a big place. Getting from one mountain's park to the other takes a while. Plan your day around one mountain.
- Coming from the US? Bring a passport. Whistler is in British Columbia, Canada.
Park etiquette (applies everywhere)
- Orange ovals mean freestyle terrain. Resorts like Mammoth and Big Bear mark terrain parks with an orange oval. Read the signs at the entrance before you drop in.
- Scope first, then hit. Ride your first lap past the features, not over them. Look at the takeoff and the landing.
- One rider per feature. Call your drop, wait your turn and clear the landing fast.
- Start small. Every resort here has a beginner or progression zone. Work up from there.
- Helmet. Some parks require one; wear one in all of them.
